Introducing the Third Generation

Today, I am writing to introduce the next generation of the family business to you, our customers. We are proud to be able to include each of them in the business in various ways, and in the process they get to learn valuable life lessons and skills for when they are older.

Serenity helps with the office work, photography, and website maintenance. She is a quick learner and extremely responsible young lady. She hopes to begin her own babysitting services when she turns 12 this summer, as she loves working with little kids. She already volunteers weekly, during the school year, on Wednesday mornings for an International Women’s Group in Bryan/College Station.

Starlene, aka. “Star”, helps with photography and maintaining the grounds. She enjoys working outside and with her hands. She truly acts like a middle child of the family, enjoying not have to be responsible for more than herself, yet still able to be bossy towards her little brother. She is very outgoing when she wants to be, but also enjoys her alone time to read. She also volunteers weekly, during the school year, at the International Women’s Group in Bryan/College Station, watching children.

Stephen has what we consider the most important job, janitor. He also helps with various other tasks as needed around the store. He is a very sweet and energetic little boy, who loves interacting with our customers. He loves being active outdoor and is always ready to give a helping hand to anyone. He can brighten up anyone’s day, with his infectious smile and warm hugs. He loves dinosaurs, cars, and trains.

You can look forward to seeing blog posts from each of them soon, so check in often to see what they are loving about our treasures in store and their experiences working in the family business. As always we love hearing back from you and hearing your stories of the past.

Very nice!!! Family is a blessing and a gift from GOD. How old and where is Austin.

    1. Austin is 15 now. I would love for him to get involved with the business as well, but he doesn’t want to be involved, so we are not forcing him to do very much with the business.
